DATA showcases the work of artists whose practice is actively engaged in Internet culture. Their work revolves around technology, games, social networks, commerce and politics. In their talks each artist discuss their approaches and ideas behind their interdisciplinary practice.

Standard Features is a research based, collaborative group that uses fast paced, synergetic platforms for the exploration of ideas and the creation of new work. The content engages with issues concerning emerging visual cultures. The format utilises physical and online territories. Standard Features is currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
Ivan Twohig is an artist who’s work operates at the areas of convergence between art, design, technology and pop culture. He has experience exhibiting both nationally and internationally in both small artist run galleries and larger institutions. His work was exhibited as part of the St. Etienne Design Biennale in 2008 in France and the Fenomen IKEA exhibition at MKG in Hamburg Germany in 2009. In 2009 co-curated the Refunct 1.0 a symposium of Hardware Hacking and Recycling, he also initiated a series of Shape workshops which explore Geometry through physical activities. Ivan’s work has been included in publications in Ireland, Germany and China.
Chris Timms (b.1984) is a visual artist currently based in Dublin, Ireland. He holds a BA in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, is a member of The Good Hatchery, and exhibits and undertakes residencies internationally and in Ireland. His practice focuses on mediated ecologies, where processes of destratification, mystification and play within actual and virtual environments can create new spaces of experience.
Anthony Antonellis – b.1981. Lives and works on the internet. Anthony Antonellis is a visual artist who is known primarily for his work online, but his practice is not limited to virtual space. His process copy-pastes between analog and digital states, exploring the simultaneity of real and virtual objects. His recent works have experimented in short animation, installations, painting, and internet based art. Several of his pieces have been curated into the Rhizome ArtBase at the New Museum (New York). His work has been included in recent exhibitions at Jacob’s Island (London), Eyebeam (New York), Glitch Festival (Chicago/Amsterdam), and at online galleries including bubblebyte.org and SPAMM.fr. Antonellis studied at Savannah College of Art and Design, BFA in painting, and Bauhaus-University Weimar, MFA in new artistic strategies.
